Thanks again! Just ordered a new deck instead of just the laser (might as well if the motor that moves the laser is part of the deck, no reason not to replace a 4 year old one for 10 bucks more). Hey Nick, did you ever find the solution to your ps3 having no difficulty reading blu ray games and dvds, but having trouble with just blu ray movies? I've been searching everywhere (much like you), and with how you worded the problem so exactly familiarly, I figured you'd be the best person to ask. Please please please tell me you figured it out so I know if I have to get a new laser, or just do one of the entire ps3 formats that erases everything. Thanks so much for your response.
