So many aspects of this game make it great. First, there are 2 different types of game play. First, you can roam the world in one of the sweetest vehicles ever to grace a video game. As you progress through the game, you power up your vehicle. This includes: increasing your fire power, underwater movement, climbing walls and even flying! The second type of game play happens when you go into what I would call "dungeons" and you have a top down movement as a person and you fight bosses.
The story is ridiculously awesome. You lose your frog, follow it into some crazy world, take (others may call it stealing) the sweet vehicle, and begin your adventure!
It's hard, there are no save points, and it will take a few hours. It took me until I reached college to beat. If you'd like a slightly calmer version of this game that does have save points, there is a new version down-loadable for the Wii. A true classic!
