When a cute-as-heck space-traveling girl finds herself stranded on an unfamiliar planet, she will harness the power of her spectacular hats to explore every nook and cranny to restore the fuel to her ship. Along the way she will encounter the Mafia of Cooks, the goofy birds of Dead Bird Studio, the spooky shadows of Subcon Forest and many more crazy characters and wacky adventures.

Tip My Hat to a Modern Twist on a Classic Genre |

Although Kickstarter has been all over the place when it comes to success or utter failure (or, worse, just outright grift), A Hat in Time is one of the good ones. Danish studio Gears for Breakfast put it up - managed to double its fundraising goal in just two days - and deliver across (currently) all platforms. A 3D platformer in the vein of classics like Spyro, Psychonauts and other earlier titles, A Hat in Time is certainly an indie success story and continues to enjoy widespread support as well as an active community of modders/workshop users.

A Whimsical Journey Through Time and Space |

"A Hat in Time" tells the story of Hat Kid, a space traveler with a cool hat that can manipulate time. As Hat Kid explores different worlds, she meets funny characters, and together, they go on a wild and silly adventure. The story is simple but super enjoyable, with lots of laughs and memorable moments that make it a blast for players of all ages.
Presentation
The game looks like a colorful and lively cartoon come to life. The characters are cute and expressive, and each world is packed with different types of objectives. The music fits perfectly, making the whole experience feel like you're playing in an animated movie. "A Hat in Time" is a treat for the eyes and ears.
