Second sequel to the legendary arcade shoot 'em up, this instalment has gorgeous graphics, inventive levels and adds a whole new set of weapons systems into the mix. True to the original and quite as not as unforgivingly difficult as R-Type II, this is a candidate for best shooter on the SNES.
