Synopsis:

A prequel to the Metal Gear series, during the Cold War you play as Naked Snake, who has been sent to the wilderness of Russia to stop the Brezhnev faction and the deadly Cobra Unit after a nuclear explosion threatens to shatter the peace between the U.S. and Russia. As he proceeds on his mission, Snake discovers it's a cover for something far more coveted - with implications for the future of the world.
