Another quality entry in a series that has rarely put a foot wrong. The Wii racing wheel adds another fun dimension to the formula although, as ever, the single player mode is too easy.

Still a fun kart racer, with multiplayer shining, but I still prefer the earlier entries and I have no love for the wheel at all. I'll gladly play it with friends around, but I can't muster up enough enthusiasm to purchase it for myself.

A bit different and a bit better than the Mario Kart for GameCube. The controller was a cool addition and the levels were fun to play. But, to me this is not as good as Mario Kart 64 as skilled kart drivers do way better than beginners.

Taking Mario Kart to the Next Level

Mario Kart Wii has taken the Mario Kart series to a new level. The addition of the wheel not only took advantage of the Wii's controls, but was a fantastic addition for a racing game. The wheel takes little time to get use to, easy play control. Anyone who plays the game without the wheel is not getting the intended experience and shouldn't play it in my opinion. You guys who play this game with the joystick are stubborn fools who are more set on perfection then having fun and I feel sorry for you.
There are classic levels from previous games, and some new ones as well. It's probably my favorite Rainbow Road, too. The online portion of the game is great and I still play it from time to time. I do wish you could play grand prix's with just your friends and no teams, but I don't …

Good but not Great

It is a good addition to the Mario Kart family. The best part for me is the wheel. It adds a lot of fun for me. The flicking of the wheel for tricks and fun of feeling like you are driving added a lot to the game. Also the on-line multi-player is fun. I wish I had more friends who played it because some of the people are a little to good on the random match ups but it is still fun racing on-line. My only complaint is that they took muti player out of the cup challenges. My wife and I had a blast with Double Dash racing together to win all the cups, her running interference while I won. It was a bit disappointing that was taken out. It is still a fun game and in my opinion a must own for any Wii owner but it is still not Mario Kart 64.
