Sequel to the enjoyable RPG Lufia & The Fortress of Doom that follows the same formula with a bit of added polish; that was good, this is even better.

Sequel to the enjoyable RPG Lufia & The Fortress of Doom that introduces a more Zelda-like arcade puzzle element to the traditional formula and it works really well. Not quite in the Zelda/FFIII league, but one of the better RPGs on the SNES nonetheless.

Several took more than an hour to complete (this was, of course, before the advent of on-line guides and cheats). Perhaps the best part of this game is the ancient dungeon, a mini-game that you can devote endless hours to. Near the end of the game you can enter a dungeon at level 1 with no equipment that is 99 levels long (randomly generated). Enemies at the bottom become far more difficult than the last boss of the game. Fantast...
