Synopsis:

Based on the mythology of H.P. Lovecraft, follow private investigator Charles W. Reed as he comes to the town of Oakmont, Mass. in the early 1920s, as supernatural events push the town to the breaking point. On foot, by boat, even diving into the murky waters, Reed with attempt to unravel the mystery behind these strange events - even as he tries to keep his own sanity intact.
