Synopsis:

Follow the grim tale of Amicia, a 15-year-old girl and her younger brother, Hugo, suffering from an unknown illness. In medieval France, 1359, the pair face off against the brutal inquisition, who are pursuing them relentlessly for reasons unknown. But the soldiers are second the teeming hordes of rats that have invaded both city and countryside, bringing deadly disease with them. But the duo may find the horde can be manipulated in their favor, with light as their salvation, as they navigate this unforgiving world.
