Synopsis: In this entry of the heretic kingdoms saga, members of secret council known as the penta nera are assassinated - and their souls consumed by demonic entities known as devourers. These evil demons take control of the memories and personalities of those they consume and materialize them as their puppets. When the council re-emerges as these thralls, they will continue their quest for immortality and power - at the expense of everything else.
