Synopsis: Based on Ken Follett's world-wide bestseller, Pillars of the Earth takes place in 12th Century England, in a time of great upheaval. In the small town of Kingsbridge, a cathedral begins construction in order to bring prosperity and security to the people. The game is divided into three chapters - and you can change the outcome of the books based on your decisions. The game follows Philip, a monk and new prior of the small abbey, Jack, who is raised in the woods by his outlaw mother and Aliena, a disgraced noblewoman. Through their eyes and experiences, one of the greatest cathedrals in all of England will be built - along with the intrigue it brings.
