Raiden-style vertical schmup that's got plenty of characters and ships but they all play pretty much the same and the different weapon systems are largely redundant because you have to sacrifice your smart bombs to use them. The juvenile "shame breaks" are also cringeworthy to anyone other than adolescent boys, but it's got nice visuals and is otherwise inoffensive. Good enough to satisfy fans of the genre but not good enough to win over those who aren't. |
