Picking up immediately after the events of Persona 4 Arena, Ultimax continues to follow the characters from Persona 3/4 as they search for the mysterious force behind the events that have happened, even as the Midnight Channel once again begins its broadcast in Inaba. Not only will the game resolve story elements between Persona 3 and 4, but it also continues the success of the fighting game that made Persona 4 Arena one of the most well-received fighting games of its time. New characters, quality animation and vocal talent and an all-new depth to combat with "Shadow" mode will attract hardcore games and newcomers alike to the series.
