Synopsis: After foolishly trespassing in a local waterfall said to contain treasure, a young boy finds a rusty sword. Removing it unleashes beasts upon the land, and causes him to be banished. Soon to be joined by a girl looking to save her love and a young sprite looking to find his memories, the hero will revitalize the Mana Sword, avoid the empire and have to make some tough choices in order to save the world.

Cute RPG with nice music and graphics and an arcade/action sensibility that will appeal to fans of Zelda.

Unique RPG, one of the best for the SNES

Fantastic action-RPG with a unique and revolutionary circular menu. This is also one of the few RPGs of the day that allowed 2 or 3 players to play at once. The story is epic and lengthy and the music top-notch (its one of the video game sound tracks I own). My only complaint is that the magic system not interfaced with the gameplay action well (basically you can cast spells over and over again until you run out of mana before the enemy has a chance to do anything). Also there are certain grinding parts of this game (leveling up and leveling your weapons up), but I always have liked grinding in fun games.
