The Resident Evil franchise gets dragged screaming into the next generation with an all-new format introducing fully 3D environments that single-handedly solves all of the previous games' issues. One niggle is the addition of the "PRESS BUTTON NOW TO AVOID CERTAIN DEATH" element that's impossible to react to in time unless you already know it's coming, but these sections are thankfully rare. The best Resident Evil game to this day.

The best entry into the Resident Evil series. They took a risk by changing things up with the way you move and shoot and introducing real-time events - and it worked. Even though I'm a little upset that the so-called "zombies" are now some kind of symbiotic parasite creatures, overall I loved this entry in the series.
