Mind Boggling Frustrating

Here are the characteristics of a bad racing game, and this qualifies in every way.
1. Give the vehicles bad handling
2. Create high speed tracks with sharp turns and no walls in places of tracks to bring out the bad handling
3. Make it nearly impossible to complete a lap without hitting walls
4. Program the computer vehicles to target you and not the other computer drivers
This is a terrible rip off of f-zero. The game has weapons you can pick up, but it does you more harm than good because anytime you pass a computer player they shoot you with a rocket, or if you're trailing a computer racer it'll drop a bomb or mines for you to run into. The last 3 vehicles of a race are more focused on hitting you with weapons than actually racing. You're only hope is to get by everyone in the pack with the help of a boost or auto-pilot item, because when you get into first place you actually have a chance to race instead of dodging explosions and constantly hitting walls.
I'm pretty good at racing games....a variety of racing games and this game is designed to make you lose...or as the programmers would say, be "difficult". When I play this game, I either get first place or last place like 90% of the time. That is not the sign of a good racing game. No matter how well you race everyone is right next to you and all the vehicles always finish within a few seconds of each other.
Oh, and making me watch the same exact Honda commercial every ten minutes is icing on the cake.
I downloaded this game for free with the "welcome back" program and I wish I hadn't.
