“Daemon X Machina” (“DXM”) is the third game developed by Marvelous First Studio, an internal development team started in 2017 by the merged publisher of a variety of Japanese media, Marvelous, Inc. “DXM” is a Mech Sim of a particular style pioneered by From Software with its venerable – not to mention formulaic, repetitive, and dormant-for-a-decade – ‘Armored Core’ series.
