Synopsis:

Following the events in Metal Gear Solid 4 and the collapse of the Patriots system, cyborg technology has spread throughout society. Yet despite the widespread availability, certain factions have gained power in the trade of this technology while rogue and terrorist organizations have spawned from the Private Military Companies (PMCs) supported by the now-defunct Patriots. Into this world Raiden works to help those who need it most. Yet the one-time child soldier turned cyborg ninja soon learns the way forward involves resolving his past - and cutting down anyone who stands in his way.
