Mega Man Anniversary Collection

Annoying Programming

Mega Man Anniversary Collection contains the first 8 Mega Mans all on one disc. It even includes a few DVD like special features for you to enjoy. Not much different here, the graphics and game play are all the same as the originals except for one reason. The A and B buttons were switched for the Gamecube version. So, on the NES you would hit 'A' to jump and 'B' to fire. Now, apparently the programmers decided that the fire button on this game should be 'A' because it's bigger on the Gamecube? I don't know, but it was really stupid, I spent a decade learning to hold 'B' to run or have a charged shot and then jumping with 'A'. I couldn't learn the other way and it made this game more difficult than it should have been. Other than that, this game was a solid Mega Man collection.
