Whelp... this tool basically all but confirmed it.
Here's the problem, Adam. I NEED electricity, so when it goes out, I just have to deal with it. Vacuum cleaners NEED electricity, so when it goes out, I just have to deal with it.
I don't NEED your Xbox, and your Xbox doesn't NEED to always be online.
What a douche. |

Heh, nothing like a microphone and camera attached to a "black box" with unclear operating procedures to generate goodwill amongst consumers.
If this thing runs some flavor of Windows 8, which is likely will based on the hardware specs, I don't see why anyone would subject themselves to such abuse when they could just buy a Windows 8 gaming PC and run Steam and GOG titles on it. |

Between the forced installation of game discs, and only a 500 GB hard drive, and the recently patented Microsoft system for monitoring and maybe even charging users based on
who is watching what (possible with the forced Kinect camera), I don't see this as anything me or anyone else in their right mind would ever want to buy. |

Looks like Microsoft isn't going to be outdone in the "Draconian Abuses of Electronics" department by Sony. Assuming the worst, that is... and let's be honest, that's more fun anyway.

Not sure if I want an always-on Kinect in my living room...
If these insane rumors prove true, Nintendo could win the next console war in a landslide. Who would buy an Xbox like that? |
