This single-player game serves as an epilogue to Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time. Ratchet and Clank are escorting the dangerous criminal Vendra Prog to his new home on a detention center when a daring jailbreak leaves them lost in a deep, abandoned sector of space. There they stumble upon an inter-dimensional plot that threatens the entire universe. More weapons, more mind-bending (and gravity-altering) puzzles and all-new planets and enemies await the heroic duo.
