Is there a free demo on Xbox Live?

I trust GameSpot reviews, usually.  Aside  from an aggregate site like Metacritic or Game Rankings, this seems like one of the more reliable sites for video game reviews.

Ahem, what Jonzor meant to say was wait until one of the incredible MeltedJoystick staffers reviews it or some of our members start contributing reviews for it, as this is one of the more reliable sites for videogame reviews. 03/24/2011

Well... there is that.  Because at this site you've got the benefit of people reviewing games as users of the game, as opposed to corporate shills, which is always the fear with mainstream game sites.  If you'd like to see reasons why you should think twice about GameSpot's reviews, or really any big site for video games, you should look at the Wikipedia page for a fellow named Jeff Gerstmann.  Pay special attention to the part about why he got canned from GameSpot.

Also, with a site full of users, you'll probably get a really good sampling of people that have played the game, because people usually don't rate/review games they don't care about.

Just imagine if people out there were rating games unfairly low when they hadn't played the game based on the fact that say... they didn't like the subject material.

Also remember that people who don't like a game based solely on the subject matter are very unlikely to write a review of it. Ratings are mainly useful to gauge overall opinion. 03/25/2011
