The seminal turn-based strategy game returns with some upgraded visuals and a conscious attempt to inject a bit more variety into the missions and maps. As with a lot of strategy sequels, some of the tinkering seems to be there for its own sake and adds a layer of complexity without really adding to the enjoyment. For this reason it doesn't quite capture the imagination in the same way as Enemy Within, but it's a top notch strategy title nonetheless. |
